Our History
Farmers for four generations…
In the early 1900’s, ______ McKenna, his wife, and their ___ children settled into farm land just west of Kansas City, a small town called Weir, Kansas. Calloused hands worked over the soil until one day they couldn’t anymore.
In 1990, Ed and Jean McKenna, along with their sole son E.J. stepped foot onto farm land that had previously been sed for horse rides through the rural part of Branson, Missouri. Throughout the following years, buildings would crop up across the 27 acres of land. A house here, a house there. A wedding chapel. A barn. Chicken coops. As the years moved on, marriage and family would come.
One random night, Ed brought up an idea that had been nagging him for weeks now: why not open a pumpkin patch?
